About Jordan Wu a multidisciplinary UX designer with a keen interest in human behaviors, economics, visual art, and engineering.

I combine these disciplines to create human-centered design solutions that bridge research and creativity through design thinking, agile product development.

Current Role

  • At Wolters Kluwer, I lead the design of navigation and search features for the Enablon SaaS platform.

  • I have contributed to the design system development - interactive component and pattern library.

  • Most recently, I've expanded into AI-integrated design, working on an AI chat agent combined with search functions for platform navigation.

  • Currently I am experimenting with vibe coding to accelerate design iterations and prototyping

  • My recent focus also has been on accessibility design—auditing interfaces and implementing remediations to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards. This 2-year initiative resolved 90% of detected issues and led to securing a contract with Microsoft.

  • I also serve as an accessibility champion in our design team and product domains, promoting best practices and facilitating accessibility training across teams.

Background

My background in product design and MBA education have shaped my analytical approach to problem-solving, enabling me to synthesize business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility into cohesive, value-driven solutions.

My journey into UX design began with my industrial design training, which led to recognition from the Industrial Designers Society of America and a U.S. design patent. It continues to shape how I approach interaction, service flows, and the broader product ecosystem.

My process integrates qualitative insights from user interviews and behavioral observations with quantitative data tools like Pendo, supporting a lean build-measure-learn cycle to deliver impactful, data-informed results.

Working Style

Colleagues describe me as an agile, collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments. I bring a multidisciplinary perspective, strong analytical thinking, and an Agile-ready mindset. I enjoy exploring the motives behind user behavior and creating solutions that are not only aesthetically refined but meaningfully improve workflows and reduce friction and users’ pain points.

Fun Facts

When not designing or mapping ideas on Miro, I can often be found on the tennis court or casually observing how people interact with the products and systems around them in meetups, museums, or stores across New York City.

Oh, did I mention I am a big fan of Nobel laureate Richard H. Thaler’s writing, including Nudge? And I create my own crafts from time to time.
